The Soundbrenner Core has an internal software which is called firmware. It is recommended to keep the firmware up to date to receive all new features, improvements, and bug fixes. It can be updated via our mobile app "The Metronome by Soundbrenner".
Note: As of February 2020, no firmware updates are available yet.
How to update the firmware
Open our app and log in to your Soundbrenner account.
Connect to your Soundbrenner Core by tapping "Add a Soundbrenner wearable" in the Settings.
Tap on the Core to open the device settings. If a firmware update is available, you'll see a teal banner "Firmware Update Available"
Press the banner and simply follow the on-screen instructions and wait for the firmware update to complete. You will need an internet connection to download the firmware file.
Congratulations! Your firmware has been successfully updated. Note: if you use iOS, your Core will be unpaired after the firmware update. Hence, you have to repair it via the Soundbrenner app after the firmware update is complete.
