This article is specifically about how to pair our mobile app (and Soundbrenner wearables) to Ableton. You can accomplish this via a USB cable.
What works: Controlling the tempo of your Soundbrenner app and wearables via Ableton.
What doesn’t work: Subdivision information cannot be sent due to a limitation of MIDI clock. Controlling Ableton’s tempo using the Soundbrenner app and wearables does not always work properly.
Using Ableton to control your Soundbrenner wearable:
Step 1:
Make sure your Soundbrenner app is set up to receive external MIDI.
Launch Ableton Live and open Preferences - > Link MIDI.
Step 2:
Find your Soundbrenner device's output port from the list of connected devices and then set Sync to "on".
Ableton Live will then display Sync status.
Now, you can control the tempo of your Soundbrenner wearable, as well as start and stop the metronome, directly from Ableton Live.
Using your Soundbrenner Wearable/App to control Ableton:
Please note that this feature does not always work.
